Nike maximise energy return with all new Joyride cushioning system

Air, Free, Lunarlon, React and now Nikes latest innovation, Joyride technology. As the push for energy returning soles heats up between brands, Nike attempts to push the boundaries through the use of thousands of beads throughout the midsole that aim to increase responsive.

The specially formed beads are strategically distributed throughout the midsole to address the multiple points of a runners stride and ultimately reactive to every runner's stride, providing a personalised cushioning system. While the majority are placed to contract the pressure of a runners heel strike, beads also support transition to the toe-off phase. Complemented with a Flyknit upper, the pair remains light but durable.

After a brief try-on, I am keen to give these a real test run as I continue to search for maximum comfort. Take a look a below for pictures and a video below for details of the pair.
