Projects of the Week - 03/07/20

Pop Smoke - Shoot For The Stars Aim For The Moon

R.I.P. Pop Smoke. The long-anticipated posthumous project from the late, great New York rapper, Pop Smoke, serves as a bittersweet release. Executively produced by 50 Cent, the project displays the versatility of an artist very early in his career, and it is evident that the young star had a long successful career ahead of him. The album features an all-star cast with the likes of Quavo, Future, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Roddy Rich, Tyga, Swae Lee, and more all making appearances.

Westside Gunn - Flygod Is An Awesome God 2

Griselda's immense work rate sets them apart from many artists and only months after the release of the critcally-acclaimed Pray For Paris, Westside Gunn is back with the sequel of his Flygod Is An Awesome God project. The project stays in line with the luxuriously gritty sound that Westside has become known for and is another must-listen for any Griselda fan.

SL - Selhurst SE25

One of the most unique rappers in the scene, SL, drops a brand new 4-track EP. This new project sees the South London rapper paying homage to his hometown and displays great chemistry between him and American producer Kenny Beats. The EP provides 4 bangers that will hold his fans over until the release of a full-length project.

Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer

Atlanta legend, Gucci Mane, has dropped a new collaborative album featuring some of the best young rappers from the South. Lil Baby, Young Thug, Moneybagg Yo, and 21 Savage are just a few of the names that appear on this compilation and the project serves as essential listening for any trap music fan.
